Sanjeev Chowdhury, the Canadian vice consul, first moved into his Breach Candy apartment in August year before last, shortly after he had been posted to this city.

And in the short time that he has been here Sanjeev has managed to become one of the city8217;s most popular diplomats. At nearly every major social event that happens, you can bet that he will be there. But, if Sanjeev likes to go out, he equally enjoys entertaining in his 1,100 sqft apartment and is reputed to be a great host. In fact, that is why he rearranged all his furniture which is from Canada, earlier this year. quot;I have made better use of the space so guests can sit more comfortably in the living room.quot; In the first room that you enter, on one side is a large wooden dining table, which seats 10. Then, there is a sitting area and on the far side a desk and two armchairs. This is Sanjeev8217;s favourite spot as from here he can see the sea. quot;I often sit here and just read a book. Or look at my paintings.quot;
