
MUMBAI, December 15: Due to poor response from passengers, the following Christmas Holiday Specials have been cancelled: 141 Dn Kurla T- Varanasi leaving Kurla T on January 3 and 10, 1998; 142 Up Varanasi-Kurla T leaving Varanasi on January 4 and 11; 151 Dn Kurla T leaving Kurla on January 2 and 9 and 152 Up Gorakhpur-Kurla T leaving Gorakhpur on January 4 and 11. In view of the heavy rush of passengers towards Trivandrum, the load of 161 Dn/162 Up Dadar T-Trivandrum-DadarT special will be augmented by 3 sleeper class coaches on December 20, ex-Dadar T and on December 23 ex-Trivandrum. Passengers are requested to purchase tickets in the waiting list which will be cleared by these 3 additional sleeper class coaches.

The Centre of Distance Education has extended the last date of registration for BA I/B.Com I and MA I/II of May 1998 to December 24, 1997. The dates of the examination for UBT to be held in December have been scheduled on December 26, 27, 29 and 30, 1997.
