The BEST has announced extra bus services on Sundays and holidays to Juhu beach, Marve-Aksa beaches, Gorai creek, Kanheri caves and Kamala Nehru Park.
A press release stated that due to the summer vacations, large numbers of people visit these places on holidays and weekends. To provide comfortable travel, 32 additional buses will be operated to Juhu beach on route numbers 231, 203, 4 Ltd, 84 Ltd, 255 Ltd, 384 and 80 Ltd on Saturdays while 44 additional buses on holidays. For Marve and Aksa beaches, 23 buses in the morning and 30 buses in the evening will be operated.
