The Military Academy has invited prospective male candidates for the National Defence Academy examination to be held by the Union Public Service Commission in April 8217;98 for free counselling. Art course

A week-long crash course in drawing and painting with crayons is being held at Ramabai Paranjpe Bal Mandir, near Parle Tilak Vidyalay, Vile Parle E. The course which commenced on October 22 is open to kids 8-16 years of age. Artist C S Pant is conducting the programme, the fees for which is Rs 450. For further information contact 6124494.

Pensioners

The Pay and Accounts office has requested pensioners who are not in a position to visit the office in person to submit life certificate as on November 1, 1997 under the signature of a gazetted officer, post master or a bank manager for the timely remittance of their pension. Those pensioners who want their life certificates under the signature of a bank manager should contact the bank concerned on or after November 1. The life certificate will subsequently be forwarded to the Pay and Accounts office.

Workshop

The Bombay Natural History Society and Centre for Environmental Education have organised a two-day workshop at CEE, Goregaon, on October 24 and 25.
