Workshop on child sexual abuse
The British Council Division has organised a workshop on child sexual abuse which will examine the role of various professionals working with such children and identify the required support mechanisms, which could help in recognising, preventing and coping with this crime.
A spokesperson for the BCD stated that social workers, lawyers, NGOs and other professionals working with abused children are often hindered by insufficient and poorly implemented laws and lack of information about the legal system and how to access it. The workshop will be held on July 24 at British Council Theatre, Mittal Tower, C Wing, Nariman Point.
Public speaking workshop for kids
Speaker8217;s Academy is conducting public speaking workshops for children between the age group of seven to 15 years at Fort and Andheri every Saturday and Sunday.
