Transferred DCPs get new postings
FIVE deputy commissioners of police, prominent among them being Datta Padsalgikar, today got their new postings in Mumbai.
While the announcement of the transfer of S S Kemkar and R M Kedari had been made two days ago, the transfer of the other three was declared today. Padsalgikar has been transferred from the Economic Offences Wing to Zone VII, extending from Bandra to D N Nagar in north-west Mumbai. He has been replaced by Anant Shinde. Former DCP R T Rathod of Zone VII has been transferred as SP CID crime Pune on February 9. While S S Kemkar has been appointed the DCP in Zone V in place of Madhu Shinde, R M Kedari has take charge of the special branch 1, replacing V L Ingle.
