Karate championship held

Fifteen city youngsters from the Karate Osho International KOI academy recently won medals at a local karate championship, in which over 170 youths participated. Twenty-three-year-old Mohammed Arif, a second dan black belt from KOI academy, was amongst those who received the top honours at this annual championship.

ABVP8217;s literary conferences

Accolades for city prof

The International Association of Educators for World Peace IAEWP, a UN-approved organisation, has appointed professor D R Bhalerao from Mumbai as its vice-president for Central Asian affairs. Bhalerao was also made executive board member of IAEWP, at the ninth Congress of the organisation which was held recently in Brazil.
