Aeromodelling workshops

Two workshops on aeromodelling for children and adults will be held at Dr Antonio Da Silva High School, Dadar, from May 16. The workshop will consist of lectures on aviation history, and basic aerodynamics. For further details call 565 0130 or 51 6421 or refer to the school notice board.

Coaching classes for NDA exams

Coaching classes for entrance examinations to the National Defence Academy NDA by Swatantryaveer Sarvarkar Rashtriya Smarak will commence by the first week of June. Registrations can be done at the Smarak8217;s office at Shivaji Park, Dadar, between 5.30-8 pm. For more information call 446 5877.

WIAA opposes autorickshaws n WESTERN India Automobile Association WIAA has expressed its strong disapproval against allowing autorickshaws to ply in South Mumbai. The association fears that the introduction of autorickshaws will further hamper traffic movement.

Alliance Air revises timings

Alliance Air has revised the timings of its Cochin, Rajkotand Jodhpur flights from May 12. The Mumbai-Cochin flight will leave at 5.30 am and return by 9.30 am. The Mumbai-Rajkot flight will depart at 10.15 am and arrive at 12.25 pm. The Mumbai-Jodhpur flight will leave at 4.40 pm and reach Jodhpur via Udaipur at 7 pm. It will return to Mumbai by 8.50 pm.

Anand Margis8217; celebrations

The 77th birth anniversary celebrations of Shri Anandamurthi, preceptor of Anandamargis, will be held at Anand Marg Ashram, Ghatkopar, on Monday from 6 am. Programmes like Akhanda Kirtan and Narayan Seva have been organised to mark the occasion.
