Mumbai cops probe, find: this wasn146;t deliberate

A day after Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil directed the Mumbai Police to conduct a 8220;thorough8221; inquiry into the wardrobe malfunction at the Lakme Fashion Week, the police gave a clean chit to the designers, models and organisers.

A day after Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil directed the Mumbai Police to conduct a 8220;thorough8221; inquiry into the wardrobe malfunction at the Lakme Fashion Week, the police gave a clean chit to the designers, models and organisers. Deputy Commissioner of Police Enforcement S Y Apranti said: 8220;I have found that both incidents, involving Gauhar Khan and Carol Gracias, were accidents and had not been caused due to anybody8217;s deliberate actions.

8220;It took me 13 to 14 hours to record all statements and study video footage of the incidents. Statements of the two models, designers and organisers were recorded,8221; he said.

Bennu Sehgall, designer for the halter that fell off, said she was tired talking about an accident.
