
UPA partners Lalu Prasad Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan are unable to understand why fellow socialist, SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, adopted such a strong posture over the Mumbai terror attacks while speaking at the all-party meeting convened by the Prime Minister. Singh asked the Centre to take the strongest possible action to punish the culprits, underlining that the country favoured it. 8220;Does Mulayam want India to attack Pakistan? How can he favour war against Pakistan?8221; Paswan was learnt to have wondered. The SP leader8217;s stance is worrying for Lalu and Paswan as they both are opposed to any military action against Pakistan, fearing their Muslim vote bank may not like this. That Mulayam is ready to run the 8220;risk8221; is causing them surprise.
