MUMBAI, MAY 5: Amateur Riders’ Club-owned nine-year-old Mukaefil gave desired response and in The Gwalior Cup, 1000 metres, the main event of the opening day of Gymkhana Races held on Wednesday at Mahalakshmi.

Flying Cadet and Oriental Thunder who were fighting neck to neck with the winner from 200 metres mark, ultimately had to be contended with the second and third berth respectively.

Blushing Brave pulled maximum support but did not raise hope at any stage. Paragraph placed at the Scratch was observed lifeless in the home stretch.

Jackpot, Treble, Placepot and both the Double Forecast pools remained unsolved.
