Flying Cadet and Oriental Thunder who were fighting neck to neck with the winner from 200 metres mark, ultimately had to be contended with the second and third berth respectively.

Blushing Brave pulled maximum support but did not raise hope at any stage. Paragraph placed at the Scratch was observed lifeless in the home stretch.

Jackpot, Treble, Placepot and both the Double Forecast pools remained unsolved.
