MUMBAI: Ballarpur Industries Ltd registered a 10.22 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 44.20 crore for the first quarter this fiscal as compared to Rs 40.10 crore for the same period last year. Total income grew 2.60 per cent to Rs 437.92 crore from Rs 426.81 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the BSE.

I-flex profit up 42

MUMBAI: I-flex Solutions Ltd posted a 42.48 per cent rise in net profit of Rs 53.12 crore for the quarter-ended September 30, as compared to Rs 37.28 crore in the same period last fiscal. Total revenue increased 35.12 per cent to Rs 272.78 crore from Rs 201.87 crore in the year-ago period. The company informed the BSE.

Sun Pharma net rises 49

MUMBAI: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd reported a 49.30 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 113.58 crore for the quarter-ended September 30, as compared to Rs 76.07 crore in the year-ago period. Total income increased to 456.81 crore from Rs 311.98 crore in the same period last year, the company informed the BSE.

MUMBAI: Tata Elxsi Ltd reported a 39.54 per cent rise in net profit of Rs 8.54 crore for the quarter-ended September 30, as against Rs 6.12 crore in the same period last fiscal.

Total income increased 27.65 per cent to Rs 56.13 crore for the quarter ended September 30 from Rs 43.97 crore in the year-ago period.

Voltas net up Rs 18.85 cr

MUMBAI: Tata group company Voltas Ltd has registered a net profit of Rs 18.85 crore for the quarter-ended September 30, against Rs 5.56 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company8217;s revenues rose to Rs 476.10 crore from Rs 297.33 crore in the same year-ago period.

Nestle India Q3 net up 8.33

MUMBAI: Nestle India Ltd posted a 8.33 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 74.59 crore for the quarter-ended September 30 as against Rs 68.85 crore for the same period last year. Total income increased 11.95 per cent to Rs 630.48 crore for the third quarter this fiscal from Rs 563.16 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the BSE.

Mico Q3 net dips 13.16

MUMBAI: Motor industries company Ltd MICO reported a 13.16 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 85.89 crore for quarter-ended September 30, compared to Rs 97.20 crore for the year-ago period.

Total income however, increased 57.01 per cent at Rs 799.79 crore for the third quarter of current fiscal from Rs 509.37 crore in the same period last fiscal.

GlaxoSmithkline Pharma net profit surges 79.32

MUMBAI: GlaxoSmithkline pharmaceuticals Ltd posted a 79.32 per cent increase in net profit for the third quarter this fiscal at Rs. 309.33 crore against Rs 172.50 crore in the year-ago period.Total income increased 13.87 per cent to Rs. 438.41 crore for the quarter-ended September 30 from Rs 384.98 crore during the same quarter in the previous financial year.

Gujarat Ind power sees 25.29 dip in net profit

Mumbai: Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd reported a 25.29 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 24.22 crore for the quarter-ended September 30 as against Rs 32.42 crore in the year-ago period. Total income has decreased 4.64 per cent to Rs 196.17 crore from Rs 205.73 crore in the same period last year the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Bank of India net up 166.81

MUMBAI: Bank of India has posted a 166.81 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 132.18 crore for the quarter ended September 2005 as compared to Rs 49.54 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income increased 10.25 per cent to Rs 1,964.51 crore for the second quarter this fiscal from Rs 1781.74 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous financial year.
