Move on Periphery Act to be opposed

CHANDIGARH, June 23: The Joint Action Committee JAC Against Periphery Act has threatened to launch an agitation against a decision of Haryana government on the Act.

Committee Secretary O.P. Sharma said that the decision, which aims at making the violations of the Punjab Capital Periphery Control Haryana Amendment Act a cognisable offence, has put them in an awkward position.
