DECEMBER 19: Since every celebrity has a cause these days, can an MTV VJ be far behind? Obviously not. Nikhil Chinappa, who was best known, till now, for flaunting his muscles like Salman Khan and chattering endlessly like Shah Rukh Khan, has suddenly discovered that he not only loves women but also his country.

At a Woman8217;s Night in a local discotheque, he said he wants every citizen of India to instill in the deepest groove of his brain that there is more to India than religion. 8220;Stop being communal. There8217;s more to India than sati, Ayodhya, masjids and dowry,8221; he says, rather vehemently. 8220;There are a lot of things I feel strongly about. If I were given the chance to take up a cause, there would be too many to choose from but I would do something to make people happy,8221; he adds, earnestly. Oh! Earnestness.
