MUMBAI, APRIL 1: The terrible wind conditions at Saldanha Bay, South Africa, continued to hamper the World Enterprise Class Sailing championships with the fifth race being abandoned after running its course upto the half-way mark, according to information available here.

Indian pair Naresh Yadav and Girdharilal Yadav8217;s protest against Maanen brothers, Roy Van and Neil Van, in the fourth race was upheld and the Yadavs moved from sixth to fifth in the final positions. The other Indian pair of Ashim Mongia and Mahesh Ramachandran, who had finished ninth, were credited with eighth.

In overall standings, Mongia-Mahesh have slipped to the third spot 10 penalty points with Mitchell brothers of South Africa, Pat and Peadar, on top with 8 points.

The Yadavs are in the seventh positions with 15 penalty points.
