Modest first day for Armaan

It was a rather ordinary first day out for A1 Team India8217;s Armaan Ebrahim at the Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Having missed pre-season testing 8212;with the team only being finalised late Wednesday night8212;Armaan, on Friday was placed 18th among the 23 teams.

Having managed to put in 10 laps, the day8212;which included the two rookie practice sessions8212;basically went setting up the car, which included bedding in the brakes.

Though off the pace, the first session saw the 17-year-old youngster finish 20th with a 1:45.967 effort. The second session was an improvement as he shaved almost 11 seconds 1:34.256s to eventually end up being 3.289 seconds off the pace.
