
Mumbai, September 27: Unseeded local challenger Megha Vakharia sustained the form that brought her ITF junior8217;s title at Chennai last week, to send fourth-seeded Sasha Abraham packing 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 in two hours and 15 minutes to make it to the girls singles semi-finals of the ITF junior tennis tournament here on Wednesday.

Upsets galore in squash
It was a day of upsets at the Little Masters Squash Tournament, organised by the Willingdon Sports Club, with the top three seeds in the boys under-17 category making their exit from the quarter-finals at the WSC8217;s squash courts.
Top seed Yashwardhan Singh lost in five sets to Calcutta8217;s Saurav Ghoshal. Ghoshal won 9-5, 5-9, 8-10, 9-3, 9-5. Also making their exits were second seed Vishal Kapoor of Mumbai and third seed Neerav Tomar of Delhi.
