
VADODARA, Aug 9: In the wake of recent train mishap in West Bengal, a railway safety seminar was organised here on Monday by the Vadodara division of the Western Railways.
The seminar 8220;train working in abnormal conditions-human failures and its impact on operationsquot; was attended by about 300 employees from the entire Vadodara division. Addressing the seminar Divisional Railway Manager, K C Jena advised the inspectors and the officers to do field inspections frequently and exhorted the station staff to be more vigilant. He also enunciated the safety record of the railways and asked them to re-establish the reliability of the railway services.
Principal of the Railway Staff college, Chandra Bijlani exhorted the employees to do the job allocated to everyone religiously with utmost discipline. Senior Divisional safety officer Praveen Parmar explained the relevance of the seminar in context with the recent train mishap and appealed to the staff to be more vigilant to prevent any such incidents.
Additional Divisional Railway Manager, R K Bhatnagar proposed the votes of thanks and asked the employees to perform their duties as per riles and regulations.
