Maya dissolves BSP district units, orders 145;sarvajan146; makeover

At a meeting of ministers, MPs, MLAs, zonal coordinators and other office-bearers on Friday, she asked Agricultural Education Minister K K Gautam to resign from the Cabinet and work for strengthening the organisation.

Gautam has been asked to take charge of Phoolpur, Chayal, Chitrakoot and Banda parliamentary constituencies. Meanwhile, some party sources said that Gautam8217;s name has been finalised as a candidate for the Lok Sabha elections.

Dissolving all divisional and district units, Mayawati directed leaders to constitute these units at the earliest keeping in mind the participation of sarvajan samaj all caste and communities. 8220;Follow the same pattern which brought victory to the BSP,8221; she said. She also asked them to follow the new delimitation guidelines for the Lok Sabha polls.

Emphasising on the party8217;s social engineering policy, Mayawati also expressed her gratefulness towards her party workers.
