The estranged grand nephew of DMK leader M Karunanidhi and former Union minister Dayanidhi Maran on Sunday met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and handed over his resignation from the Lok Sabha on the Sri Lankan issue. 8220;I handed over the resignation letter as Member of Parliament. I would also like to voice solidarity with all the DMK MPs in raising the issue,8221; the former Union IT and communications minister said. Maran said that like his colleagues, he too handed over his resignation letter as MP with 8220;today8217;s date to the Chief Minister.8221;
