Maneckshaw to deliver talk

PUNE, Aug 19: Field Marshal Sam Maneckshaw will deliver the sixth Annual Anand Bhadkamkar Memorial Lecture on Sunday, August 22, and present the SICOM-Anand Bhadkamkar awards at the Mahratta Chamber.

P R Joshi, director, UTI Institute of Capital Markets, and Chandrashekhar Tilak, deputy vice-president of National Securities Depository Limited are the winners of this years8217; Anand Bhadkamkar Memorial Foundation awards. Arthasanwad8217;, a bulletin of the Marathi Artha Parishad, will receive an award of Rs 25000.

The Foundation will donate Rs 1 lakh to the Army Jawans Welfare Fund, and Rs 50,000 each to Manavya Pune, which works for the welfare of commercial sex workers and their children, and to the Halo Medical Foundation, Aurangabad, which has trained community health workers to serve villages.
