As the Prime Minister sat with leaders from across the state at the roundtable, there were several attacks around the Valley. 10.30 am: Militants lob a grenade at Qamarwari Chowk injuring 10 persons, including three CRPF jawans. The grenade meant for a bunker misses the target and explodes on the street. 11 am: Militants throw a grenade at a CRPF picket at Anantnag bus stand. The grenade explodes on the road. No one is injured. 5.15 pm: A grenade explodes at Sarafkadal injuring a soldier and two others. 7 pm: Grenade attack at Hawal Chowk in downtown Srinagar. Nine persons, including four cops hurt. 8:15 pm: Militants toss a hand-grenade towards the police lines in Budgam. No one injured. 9 pm: Militants hurl a grenade at Zaindar Mohalla near the Divisional Commissioner’s office, injuring five.
