Chicken king for Windies

New Delhi: The West Indies team today heaved a huge sigh of relief after KFC stepped in as their team sponsors for the Champions Trophy. The Caribbeans have communications company Digicel as their long term team sponsors but the players would not be able to display that logo during the biennial event due to ambush marketing rules of the ICC. The world body has Hutch, another telecom major, as their global sponsors and players are prevented from endorsing rival products during an ICC event. PTI
