BIRMINGHAM, JANUARY 29: British shot putter Paul Edwards has been banned for life from track and field by UK Athletics for his second doping offence.

Edwards tested positive in 1994 at the Commonwealth Games and three years later tested positive for high levels of Testosterone. He was banned for drug use in 1998 but appealed the decision on the grounds the urine sample had not been properly refrigerated.
