Lakshmanan says chapter is closed

Justice A R Lakshmanan on Saturday declined to comment on the letter controversy. When asked by newsmen about his reasons to recuse himself from the disproportionate assets case involving Mulayam Singh, he said he had nothing to say on the matter. 8220;The chapter is closed. Don8217;t ask me that question. Forget it. The chapter is closed once and for all. I don8217;t want to say anything,8221; he said after attending a seminar on 8216;Delay in Administration of Criminal Justice System8217; at Vigyan Bhavan. The one page letter to Justice Lakshmanan was faxed to his residence from an unknown number on Friday.
