Kumhar colony residents continue strike

CHANDIGARH, OCT 4: The residents of Sector 25 kumhar colony today continued their hunger strike. The residents have been staging demonstrations for the past few days to press for their demand for bigger flats.

They said that they were being rehabilitated in small flats by the UT administration. They are demanding that bigger flats be allotted to them. Around 20-25 people are staging the demonstration every day in front of the colony. They began with their hunger strike yesterday and said that they would continue with the same if their demands are not met with at the earliest.
