Delhi’s Virat Kohli will lead a 16-member Indian under- 19 squad to South Africa to play a triangular limited over series in January, 2008, the cricket Board announced today.

Saurashtra’s Ravinder Jadeja would be the vice-captain of the team which was chosen here after a meeting of the BCCI’s junior selection committee that was headed by Sanjeev Sharma.

The team would play a tri-series also featuring hosts South Africa and Bangladesh in addition to two three-day ties and will leave on December 30.

The junior selection panel meeting convened by BCCI joint secretary M P Pandove also picked 30 probables for the under 19 World Cup in Malaysia in February.
