PUNE, Oct 12: Michael D8217;Cruz struck a hat-trick to spur Knights XI to a 5-0 win over Maha Bank in a Second Division match of the Poona District Football Association at the Ammunition Factory Ground Kirkee, today.

The striker scored in the 10th, 15th and 40th minutes to put the match beyond Maha Bank8217;s reach before Suhas Wilson scored on the hour. Cristy Robert completed the tally in the 68th minute.

Knights take their tally to six points from three matches with today8217;s result while Maha Bank, who played their first match, will look forward to opening their account in their next outing.

Sanjay Sharma scored the all-important goal to eke out a 1-0 win for Wanowari Sports Club over Thundercatz B8217; in another Second Division match. Sharma found the net in the 10th minute.

The result takes Wanowrie to three points with their first win from two matches while Thundercatz have the same tally from as many matches.
