AMRITSAR, Oct 28: The Majitha police has arrested Harwinder Singh, a terrorist belonging to the Khalistan Liberation Force KLF, and his accomplice, Tajinder Singh, for their alleged involvement in the murder of one Gurdial Singh of the city in 1991.
A police spokesman said today that Harwinder Singh, who was nabbed yesterday, confessed his involvement in various terrorist activities, which included the murder of Gurdial Singh.The police also arrested one Sukhdev Singht on charges of murdering Amarnath a priest of a temple in Waryam Nangal village, recently. The accused confessed killing the priest as he suspected that the mahant was having illict relations with his wife.
The spokesman said that two thieves, Rajbir Singh and Jasbir Singh, were also arrested recently and two stolen Maruti cars recovered from their possession.
