
Students of the Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology for Women, Civil Lines, have brought laurels to the institution by obtaining excellent results in the examinations conducted by the Punjab Technical University in May 2008.
Shivangi Sachdeva has topped the institute in MBA-II by scoring 88.5 marks while Paramjeet Kaur secured second position with 85.75 followed by Mandeep Kaur who scored 84.75.
Students of M.Sc IT achieved cent per cent result in fourth semester examination. Salma Khanum bagged first position by securing 85.33 while Vinny Kaushal secured second spot with 85 while Gaganpreet Kaur with 81.67 was placed at third position, according to a release issued by the institute.
Among the undergraduates, Tulika Goyal, Ritu Singh and Srishti Malhotra have bagged first three positions, respectively, in BBA-II semester examinations.
8220;All the students have passed in first division with majority of them obtaining distinctions in their areas of specialization,8221; said Dr Vijay Asdhir, director of the institute.
The president, Khalsa Dewan, Pritpal Singh Grewal, and members joined Dr Asdhir in congratulating the students, parents and the faculty for the excellent showing.
