CHANDIGARH, Jan 28: A colourful cultural programme was presented by students of Government Model Middle School, Sector 42, on the occasion of their annual function, here today.

Prizes were given away by the chief guest D.S. Mangat, D.P. I., UT administration to students who bagged top positions in academic, sports and cultural activities.

Special awards were given to Ravi Gill for his outstanding social work in school while Jatinder Singh was declared the Best Boy8217; and Seema Joshi bagged the Best Girl8217; prize.

Chief guest D.S. Mangat, while appreciating the efforts of children assured the staff that the problem of the school like the bad state of the school lawn and shortage of staff will soon be dealt with.
