CHANDIGARH, July 13: A kumar colony resident, accused of kidnapping a neighbourhood girl, was released on bail by UT Additional District and Sessions Judge S.S. Lamba, here today.The accused, Jai Bhagwan, was directed to be released on bail after furnishing personal bond of Rs 20,000, along with a surety of the like amount.He was earlier booked by the Chandigarh Police under Section 363 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code on the complaint of the girl's mother.She had alleged taking away of her girl by Jai Bhagwan from the Inter State Bus Terminus while they were heading for village Loharu in Haryana.In the complaint before the police, she had alleged that the girl was found to be missing after she returned from the toilet. A sweeper, sitting nearby, informed her about a boy leaving the bus stand with her daughter.She further alleged that Jai Bhagwan was found in her jhuggi a few days before the incident. Her daughter had informed her regarding his desire to marry her, the mother added.According to the prosecution, the FIR was registered after the mother failed to trace the girl. Jai Bhagwan was also found to be missing. The two were located in the Sector 16 Rose Garden the following day, the prosecution had added.
