PUNE, Dec 29: Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sharad Pawar today observed that it was the responsibility of the majority community to create mutual trust in the society since communal forces were deliberately disturbing the atmosphere of peace and security.
Speaking at an Iftaar party, hosted by him at Lady Hawabai School in Cantonment area, Pawar said communal forces were rearing their heads in the State, which had always adopted progressive thoughts.
It was the first ever Iftaar party, hosted by Sharad Pawar in the city in the recent past. About 500 prominent persons from the minority community were present. Pawar had personally sent the invitations, sources said.
