PANCHKULA, Aug 15: A fine unbeaten knock of 65 runs by Kamal Thakur helped Food Corporation of India FCI, Chandigarh, score a seven wickets win over Oriental Insurance Corporation in the First Inter Government/Financial Bank Employees cricket tournament at Sector 5 Cricket ground today.

OIC won the toss and scored 115 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Vipin 34 and Sandeep Mahajan 24 were the main scorers for the team. Arun Sharma and MS Sodhi got four wickets each.

Chasing the total, FCI achieved the target in the 19th overs. Kamal Thakur 65 not out, Kulvinder 25 and K Ray 22 not out mainly scored for the team.

Dinesh got two wickets.
In another match, Punjab Financial Corporation beat United India Assurance by six wickets
