ALLAHABAD, JAN 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Kalyan Singh, today said his government was quite strong and there was complete coordination among all constituents supporting the coalition government.

“Transparency, abolition of corruption and implementation of welfare schemes are our government’s aim for carrying Uttar Pradesh on the path of overall progress which has become backward by the wrong policies of the previous governments,” he said, inaugurating a Khadi Gram Udyog exhibition here.

He said there would be no compromise with the corrupt, criminals and mafia and no compromise with discipline at any cost. Since he took over the reins of the administration the economy was in shambles and the State was debtor of more than Rs 51,000 crore. Law and order situation was out of hands and there was lots of social confusion because of some unscrupulous leaders spreading casteism and communal disharmony in the society, he said.

He said his government had to work hard to bring the shattered economy of the State back on rails by taking important decisions. All the previous projects which were incomplete are now being completed, he said.
