LUCKNOW, NOV 30: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and suspended BJP leader Kalyan Singh today hinted at forming a new party and warned that his imminent expulsion would cost the party dear in future elections.
quot;Start looking for good candidates for all 425 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh and work for setting up a new organisation, quot; Singh told his supporters here.
He claimed there was a quot;strong reactionquot; within BJP regarding the action taken against him. quot; The day I will be expelled, hundreds of BJP workers will also resign from the partyquot;, he added.
There was unrest among party cadres in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan following his suspension, he said.
quot; The anger against my suspension will have effect on the next polls and those who have plotted against me will be wiped out, quot; he said, adding he would not quot;sit quietquot; but go to the people to make them aware of the injustice meted out to him by the party.
Singh also lashed out against BJP president Kushabhau Thakre, who served a show-cause notice on him, saying quot;Thakreji ki buddhi par taras aata hai I pity his intelligence.
quot;I have been accused of defying party leadership but no such instance has been mentioned in the notice, quot; he said and added his reply to the notice would be released to the press.
