Kalam for strict anti-terror laws

Former president A P J Abdul Kalam on Sunday night backed the demand for stringent laws in the fight against terrorism, and favoured setting up of a unified intelligence agency. 8220;We need to enact laws which will provide stringent punishment and deliver faster justice through quick disposal of cases,8221; he said.

Attack barbaric: IUML

The IUML has strongly condemned the 8220;barbaric8221; blasts in Delhi, saying no civilised people will accept the 8220;dastardly act8221;. In a resolution adopted at the Party8217;s National Executive meeting here, it asked the Centre to take stringent action against the persons responsible for this 8220;cowardly8221; act.
