K S Nigde clinches title

PUNE, Feb 2: K S Nigde clinched the silver division Ramdas Zaveri Golden Tee golf trophy at the Poona Club golf greens on Sunday.

KS Nigde tied with Vinesh Punjabi at 42 points in the silver division. Nigde clinched the issue on a better back nine 19 points on the front nine and 23 on the back nine. Vinesh brought in the cards with 22 points on the front nine and 20 points on the back nine to be declared the runners-up.

Following close behind the top two were GB Ghule, Gurdeep Singh and Sam Okanski who scored 40 points each to their credit.

In the bronze division, DP Karani emerged the straight winner by scoring 44 stable ford points. Three players tied for the runners-up position 8212; Sandeep Sanghvi, RD Hajarnavis and Satish Law. Best counting on the back nine 21 points brought Sandeep Sanghvi ahead of the other two contestants.
