NEW DELHI, AUG 20: Boonchu Ruangkit (Thailand) was again in the spotlight. According to information received here, he carded eight-under par 62 to lead halfway through in the US $200,000 Tianjin TEDA Open. With 11-under 129, he is two strokes clear of Korea’s Park No-Seok. Following them one stroke behind is Rafael Ponce of Ecuador.

Jyoti Randhawa continued to be the best among the five Indians, of whom Gaurav Ghei missed the cut applied at five-over 145.

Randhawa added a par 70 to his two under card from the first day to be joint 17th with two others, while Amritinder Singh shot a 70 to go with his 69 on the first day. He is 20th.

CHENNAI: Delhi’s Shruti Khanna could not have chosen a better time to buck up. Lying fourth overnight, she edged past the leaders Tuhasini Selvaratnam and Parnita Garewal to enjoy a two-stroke lead in the AVT South India Ladies Amateur Open and Handicap Golf Championship here today.
