
KHARAR, MAY 19: Justice K.S. Kumaran of the Punjab and Haryana High Court inspected the Kharar judicial courts here this morning.
A delegation of the Kharar Bar Association led by its president Avtar Singh Sidhu submitted a memorandum highlighting their various demands to him. Their main demands include setting up of the Additional District and Sessions Judge court at Kharar, increasing the number of lawyer chambers, recruitment of Class III and IV staff in the judicial courts, changing the court timings in summer, observance of five-day a week and appointment of court-auctioneer at Kharar.
Press secretary of the Bar Association, K.K. Sharma, said Justice Kumaran had assured acceptance of their genuine demands. Later, Justice Kumaran also inspected the district courts at Roopnagar.
