Joint secys promoted

Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs B A Coutinho will now be posted as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture. C V Ananda Bose, currently Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy will be the new Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation.

ITDC Chairman and Managing Director Parvez Dewan has also been promoted, but will continue in the same post. Surajit Mitra, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, will now be Additional Secretary in the same Ministry. Jayant M Mauskar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests, will also be an Additional Secretary in the same Ministry.

Similarly, Officer on Special Duty in the Delimitation Commission, Mrutyunjay Sarangi, has been promoted but will continue with his current assignment. Gireesh B Pradesh, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power will now be an Additional Secretary in the same Ministry.
