The Jet management should have given adequate notice, as well as honestly updated its employees on the financial position of the company, wherein the staff could have chipped in with better ways and means to stabilise the airline. The layoff of employees would not have allowed political parties to exploit the situation. Thankfully, the situation has been somewhat salvaged, with Jet taking back the dismissed employees.
