Jan Sewak scheme for effective policing

BANGALORE, May 2: Jan Sewak, a voluntary organisation, has come up with a unique plan to redress public grievances and ensure effective policing. The plan has been drawn up in association with the police department. The plan involves putting up suggestion boxes at important public places, where people can drop in papers bearing their greivances or pass on information regarding any illegal activity. A total of 1200 such boxes will be positioned.
