MUMBAI, JUNE 28: Second seed Avish Jaiswal came back from behind to defeat Amitpal Kohli in five sets and lifted the Navi Mumbai Squash Spectacular under-19 title at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The tournament organised by the Indian Squash Professionals under the auspices of the Squash Rackets Association of Maharashtra and sponsored by the Navi Mumbai Sports Association.

Jaiswal won the first set of the final easily at 15-13. However, Kohli who was coming back from a court injury raised his game to win the next two sets with ease at 15-5 and 15-7.

Jaiswal, then, came into his own to win the fourth game at 15-11 to set the stage for an exciting deciding game. The game went on level terms till 14-all. Jaiswal managed to win the most important point to win the match and the title.

Jaiswal received Rs 2,500 for his efforts, while Kohli took home Rs 1,500. In the under-15 final, local boy Supreet Singh of Vashi, who also trains at Otters Club downed unseeded Yogin Thakur in straight sets at 15-12, 17-15, 15-11 towin title and took home a cash prize of Rs 1,500.
