CHANDIGARH, Nov 23: The Indo-Tibet Border Police is organising an inter-sector competition at the 9th Battalion camp in Panchkula, tomorrow.

According to an ITBP statement, the three-day competition, from November 24 to November 26, will put to test personnel skills in first aid, ambulance drill, wireless and cryptography. Thirty five first aid and ambulance, and 84 wireless experts, chosen from seven sectors of the Central paramilitary force, are expected to participate in the competition, said the statement.

Raised after the 1962 Chinese aggression, the ITBP is deployed across a 2,112-km long border, from Karakoram to Libulek. The highest border outpost manned by the ITBP is more than 18,000 ft above sea.
