Diya Mirza talks about acting and Arshad Warsi
Actor Diya Mirza hasn8217;t been in the klieg lights for a long time now, but she says it is only the proverbial calm before a storm. With five films due next year, Mirza is ready to return with a bang. 8220;After my films Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Shootout at Lokhandwala, I decided to step back and find out what exactly I wanted,8221; philosophised Mirza, who was in town to walk the ramp for designer friend Rocky S at the Chivas Fashion Tour at the Intercontinental Eros.
While her professional life was getting a shake-up, rumours buzzed that Mirza was responsible for the break up of Arshad Warsi8217;s home. 8220;It8217;s unfortunate that such speculation surfaces in the industry,8221; she said. 8220;All that I8217;d like to say is that I come from a broken family, and I would be the last person to break someone8217;s home.8221;
What about her crowded films, with most of them except Shoe Bite being multi-starrers? Is she playing it safe? 8220;There8217;s no such thing as a multi-starrer. I like to work with people I can strike a chord with, which is most important to me,8221; said Mirza.
Maybe that should bring her some luck.
