Ishant fastest Indian bowler

It8217;s now official. Ishant Sharma is the fastest Indian bowler having recorded a speed of 152.3 kmph in his second delivery of his third over. Running in to save himself from a free-hit against Adam Gilchrist, Ishant fired towards the block hole to register the quickest delivery that put Ashish Nehra8217;s record of 149.5 kmph during the 2003 World Cup against Zimbabwe into oblivion. Nehra has already indicated that he will be happy to pass on the fastest bowler mantle to his Delhi teammate, while Ishant has been modest about his achievement. Obviously, his day of personal achievement didn8217;t match up to his team8217;s performance.
