
NAGPUR, July 9: A number of international players including national women8217;s champion Kasturi Chakraborty, former national champions Mantu Ghosh and Anindita Chakraborty will vie for top honours in the 46th edition of All India Inter-Railways Table Tennis Championship slated to be organised by South Eastern Railway Sports Association here from July 13 to 18. Debosmita Das, Moumita Dutta, Ganesh Kundu, last year8217;s runners-up Kishalya Basak, defending champion Bhushan Thakur, Saumickbasu Roy, Debbrata Sana, Rajesh Shillar and Nupur Santra are also xpected to participate in the six-day tournament.
Indian Oil Corporation IOC and Manganese Ore India Limited MOIL will be the co-sponsors. The Indain Railways team will be selected on the basis of performance in this tournament, and will take part in the inter-institutional tournament scheduled to be held at Baroda.
