Inflation downtrend to continue: Nath

The downward trend in inflation is expected to continue, Trade Minister Kamal Nath said on Monday.

Annual inflation, as measured by wholesale prices, was at 11.8 percent at the end of September. It hit 12.9 percent in early August, its highest since April 1995, when numbers under the current series became available.
