MEN’S ALL-ROUND GYMNASTICS
The USA’s successful foray in men’s gymnastics will be deemed complete if Paul Hamm becomes the first American man to win the Olympic gymnastics all-round title.
Hamm (21), who helped the US win their first men’s team medal, a silver, for 20 years on Monday, will be challenged by Yang Wei of China, European all-round champion Marian Dragulescu and Japan’s Hiroyuki Tomita. But Hamm has the edge over them as he beat all three at last year’s world championships to claim gold. And he also topped the field in Athens during qualifying on Sunday.
Time: 11 p.m.-1-30 a.m.
